Susan G Komen walk training

My wife and three of her quilting friends have formed a team for the Susan G Komen cancer walk in November. They named their team “Quac.” Quilters Against Cancer. Not only do they have to complete a 60 mile walk in three days but to be able to do the walk they have to collect $2500 in donations hence the last shot of the quilt they are having a raffle for. They also made a ton of cookies, muffins and other fattening stuff to sell in front of one of their friend's quilt shop. Wish them well in both the walk and in making their financial goals. The better they do the sooner the cure.

Their training walk began before sun up.

Here they are crossing a historic bridge along the walk

The smiles are because they are three quarters of the way through the route.

Coming out of one of the parks they went through.

Five minute rest stop along the way.

Here is the quilt that they are having the raffle drawing for.

That's great! Wish everyone in "Quac" great health and lot of success in their endeavour to reach their goals. Thank you for the touching post.
