When it comes down to it, all we will take into the next world is our memories. We haven't seen the future, we are just now experiencing the present, so it is not yet a memory. We can only remember the past, and this is a real blast from the past for me. Thirty seven years ago my bride made my brother and I matching western shirts for Christmas. He had, what I thought at the time, and maybe so now, a cool western hat. I grabbed it and Janie, my wife took my photo. Shortly, after he got the hat back, I took his photo. The results are what you see here. Maybe soon I'll stage the present day us instead of the past tense us. By the way his name is Don, I'm the good looking one in the first photo.

That's me with a Bud in my hand acting goofy with my brothers hat, and the new shirt my wife made me. Now she makes quilts not clothes. Tri-X photos scanned into my computer don't have quite the snap that digital has now.

That's Don looking just a little indignant for some reason. His photo has lost a lot over the years. I don't think that I left it in the fixer long enough. Notice the similarity in the sideburns. Don't know who was copying who. Hope you enjoy a laugh at the past.

After seeing the pictures of your son, I know where he got his looks from. But you and your brother look alot alike also. Thanks for the blast from the past.
