Widcat made a comment about the beauty of leaves and how overlooked they are. Gave me an idea to spend an afternoon looking for leaves. Best place other than the Dallas Arboredum was the Ft. Worth Botanic Gardens. Hope you enjoy them and thanks Widcat.
Inside the conservatory under a waterfall looking out at the plants.
Not sure what these are.
By now you've guessed that I probably don't know any of the names of these leaves.
Well you're right.
I guess I could have look for signs with names and written them down.
But I didn't have a pen or paper.
Besides there was a fine mist falling from the top of the conservatory.
Cameras don't like water.
I think that this is some type of Dracena.
Once again, not an idea.
And another one.
And one last one.
Caladium I think.
Very large tree leaf (8-10 inches across) with the sun behind it and the shadow of a smaller leaf.
