Birds in Flight

Trying to salvage an exposure mistake. Kind of a surrealistic effect. New camera and I missed a setting.

Syncronized flying. Wonder if it is as hard as syncornized swimming. These were shot from slightly above the birds, into the sun, and over the spillway at Whiterock Lake in Dallas. I think that these were Kildeers and they were really fast moving. Had to set focus and let them fly into the right spot while panning.

Second or third fly around slightly different from the first. Tweaked just a little in Photoshop.

Different angle completely. Sun off to the left allowing the algae on the spillway to show it's colors. Polarizer helped.

Oh, wow. #1 is my favorite. Very good clarity. You were at the right place at the right time.
