MHH Bridge Dallas Night

by Dean Singleton January. 10, 2012 2854 views

After shooting the bridge in the fog and rain yesterday, today cleared and I got the night shots I wanted. Several are in HDR but some are straight shots. Hope you enjoy. I can't wait for them to finish the road part across the Trinity so I can get some traffic shots but that will be in a couple of months. By the way, being in the river bottom where bodies are occasionally found tends to make one a little skitish when another photographer shows up that you didn't know was there.

Shot from several hundred yards into a fenced area that I probably should not have been. But in my defense, the gate was open.

Panorama from not quite as far into the fenced area. I liked the line of the road from the right offsetting the sun on the left.

While the bridge is fairly complete, the west end is not attached to the connecting road giving me the perfect spot to stand in the middle of the road and shoot.

A wider angle shot with no HDR treatment.

Down in the bottom shooting up at the arch. Not a good place to be at night.

A little more of downtown Dallas showing in this one, including the green weenie on the right.

Finally back in the fenced area where I probably should not have been. Shooting west instead of east gives just a little bit different coloring.

I suppose No. 5 is in HDR (something I don't usually like), but here it works.
