Christmas Lights and Sights

Before heading for downtown Dallas I took a few shots of our Christmas decorations. The tree has 502 ornaments and about 1000 lights. We collect an ornament from the area we travel for vacation. The quilts made by my wife.

Merry Christmas to all you bloggers out there!

The quilt ladder was made to display a few of Janie's quilts at a time.

Scottish Radko ornament from Edinburgh.

I just can't remember in which city we purchased this one.

Look up the “Legend of the Christmas Spider.”

Oh when the saints, go marchin in.
Oh when the saints go marchin in.
Oh Lord, I want to be in that number
down in New Orleans.

Christmas tree on Main St. in Dallas, Texas. Made from car parts.

Close up on the largest part.

Just a bunch of red balls at the bottom of the car part tree.

Downtown Dallas building.

Closer shot.

I wonder what color the star in the east was.

Neiman Marcus window dressings.

Neiman Marcus window again.

Neiman's kids window. Great looking slot car track. Even the track itself looked like well worn streets.

Looks like a few skid marks on this corner.

Some one on another blog commented that the pearls looked like soap bubbles. Pretty expensive soap bubble I think.
