Connor in the Playground

Having just finished shooting the North Texas Celebration of Hope, a Susan G. Komen event, I was ready for a change of pace. As usual Connor was ready to provide just what I needed, a little time in the park. I'll show you the Celebration in the next post, but for now, fun on the playground.

OK, I'm doing something that I hate to see others do. I'm posting a theme on a family member rather than art, travel, or documentary photography. This is Connor, my one and only grandson. I get to keep him at least once a week and we have a ball. These are a few shots from Saturday. Looks a little like a fun day coming up.

Who me? I'm just a little angel

Oh Grand Daddy, more pictures? Yep, get used to it kid.

Up the ladder.

Wonder what those kids are doing over there?

Standing on top of the world, well at least the slide.

Gather around and I'll tell you a story. To slide or not to slide.

OK, made my decision. Here goes.

Can you get back up there from this direction?

What, I don't believe it!

I want to see my lawyer. Not one word till she gets here.

This is my fashion model stance.

A little down time.

Got the shoe, got the shoe. Told you I wouldn't loose it.

King of the mountain surveying my domain.

No safety belt here, but maybe a safety hand from Grandma.

It's a reverse fireman's pole.

Onward through the fog. I don't know what that means but Grand Daddy seems to put some value to it.

OK, you can really climb this thing……………I don't think so!

Really! Can you climb it?

Time to clean up and head over to the grand parents house for more play. Gotta get rid of the trash.

That's how you do it. Toss it right in the trash……You know, "Don't Mess With Texas. Bye now.

I think no grandparent can resist posting pics of their grandkids, it's like obligatory. He's adorable, and one day should appreciate that great colour hair!
