Just a few shots from south of the Dallas, TX area. This area had 4 to 5 inches of rain last night really bringing out the green.

Mom and colt seemed to be doing their best to ignore us. The colt moved around a little but she never moved.

4 to 5 inches of rain last night brought out beautiful color to the field.

Another angle on the same field.

There were a few bluebonnets left but they were way past their prime.

This was the best stand of bluebonnets we found. They were really mixed in with the mesquite trees up the hillside.

RR Squared. Well I thought that might be a good title anyway.

I've passed this fence on numerous occasions but the light wasn't usually very good. This time it was a little better so I stopped to shoot.

In camera panorama of a field of Indian Paintbrush.

Different view.

OK, look, don't pay any attention to him and maybe he won't take a photo of us.

Lotta bull there.
