Drove about an hour from home to the "Bluebonnet" spot around the North Texas area, Ennis to be exact.  They have a bluebonnet trail, probably 50 miles if you travel all the roads.  Here are some of the things I shot Friday morning.

cedar, bluebonnets, a few Indian paintbrush, primrose, and some little yellow flowers.

Floral Mix

Lots of Indian paintbrush and a couple of rows of hay bales

Brush and Bales

Bay? Fishing Hole? Swimming Hole? I'm going to guess swimming hole with a few bluebonnets for decoration. A little cool to swim.

Dock of the.......

This was one of the more pink primrose that I ran across Friday morning.

Primrose Among the Bluebonnets.

A very locked gate leading into a bluebonnet field.

Keep Out

A mix of flowers, bales, and trees.

Colorful Landscape

Never understand why they are called butterflies when they aren't flying butter. They just flutter by.

Another color of primrose by a barbed wire fence. Here in Texas we call it Bob wire.

Just one among the bluebonnets.
