So is export strength more or less than local?
It's supposed to be higher at around 43%. It's normally around 37%.
Plymouth Gin also makes what they call "Navy Strength" at 57% !!
(The old story goes that the "normal" gin, if spilled onto gunpowder made it unusable, so the much stronger version was created, which allowed the guns to still be fired!)
