This is the view from the north of Yew Tree Tarn, near Coniston in the Lake District, England. I usually take shots from the southern end of the tarn, but on this occasion, being earlier in the day, the light wasn't so good down there, and I really wanted to capture something different than before, so I headed up the shore path to the opposite end.
The resulting image was captured at 3:10pm, September 18th, and was developed from a single RAW file using Luminar 4.
I'm pleased with the results despite the Tarn being somewhat in the distance. I feel this is one of those times when I've successfully previsualised an image that other photographers may have walked straight past.
