With the days getting longer, I'm going to have to get up earlier to get the better lighting. I'm not looking forward to this.

Morning shoot. The park had lots and lots of kids running around freaking the wildlife, and photographing kids can be a problem so there wasn't any point in staying long. Lighting was horrible anyway.

Frost in the shade.

Another flight study. Great Magpie shot. They won't let me get close.

How could I not take a photo. Went into town to pick up a new 4-season topoftherange jacket so I can stand around comfortably in crap weather and take more photographs. Bought as a bargain. I still need better gloves so I can stand around comfortably in crap weather and operate a camera.

Late afternoon shoot. Sun going down. To avoid the kids I went to photograph flowers.

I couldn't resist photographing this kid's coat.

I liked the last snowdrop photos I did so I went to do some more.

Mr Thompson wants a photo or two of Jake (Max) because he thinks he can't photograph, for the missus you understand. No problem I said.

Mr Thompson telling Jake to stop being a pest. Jake is pissed off because Mr Thompson forgot to bring the ball. They don't ask us to do much and we still get it wrong. Blurry photo but I don't care.

Great coat. Queen of the hill again.

Here we go. Brave squirrel.

Bella must think this the greatest game ever devised.

Finger on the trigger - There's a squirrel off camera to the left that comes closer to Bella in real distance but once it noticed Bella it ran off the way it had come, Bella ignored it. The squirrel she's interested in, munched for a while longer then hopped down the hill and away, Bella watched it go. Remarkable restraint.

      Nice post Peter.
I love #4 and its atmosphere.
      That tree is still there!?!?!
You did a superb job on Max's portrait. Beautiful dog.
I wonder if the squirrel on #23 is the same squirrel you snapped at the exact same place a while ago...
What does the asterisk at the end of some of your posts' title means?

Snowdrops and crocus are great. Frost is always fine and especially so with that orange leaf. Don't recognize that bird in flight, but that's awfully nice too.

Snow drops here have a different meaning. It's snowing again here for about 4th or 5th day in a row.
