Park Life [367]*

Another day [I made the most of it, rain predicted for tomorrow] and a fine start to another year. I fortunately booked a long weekend off so no work till Monday [yippee!] and I can open the bottle of wine saved from yesterday.

* good slide show.

Great looking fountain. Morning. Time to to admit I now stalk crows as well as squirrels.

Lucky shot. Bit elusive these buggers.

This beautiful creature waited till I was ready.

Let's check out the white blossom.

Let's check out the tree.

The magpies won't let me get close.

Mid-afternoon. This squirrel scampered to within 3 feet of Bella and she did nothing but watch it. Astonishing!. I was too low, when I lifted my head, the squirrel became nervous and scampered safely away. Bella didn't even get up. Very cool.

This one made a run for it when Bella was standing and ran past her.

Big mistake.

The ground was unintentional and looks amazing.

Nature loves to play. Great background. Great pose. Great light. I just point the camera and try not to screw up.

A few Blue Tits have been checking out this hole but no takers yet.

Checking out the DOF in 'Macro' mode. Late-afternoon. I wanted a technical title and that was the best I could do. What is a photograph?.

Lots of this going on today.

The neighbours. The Twins.

Late-afternoon Light. Cloudy.

On the way home.

Well...My dear Peter.
Many days now that I see your 365th coming fast and trying to find what I could do, what I could write to try to make you understand how a powerful inspiration you are to me, how much you amaze me everyday with your photography...but I deeply feel like my English vocabulary is way to thin to express that.
Every sentences that come in my mind, I've already wrote you.

What can I say...

I admire you.
I'd pay a lot of money to get a great big book of your best shots : )
I'd hang large prints of your's on my walls.
Yes, I am a fan.
I consider your 365 posts yet, in this unforgettable series, «Park Life», to be a wonderful accomplishment, in terms of quantity, but much more in terms of quality. To me -and to many others I am sure- your work is outstanting and your blog is a reference here on Photoblog.

I learned a lot contemplating you art, Peter. I learned priceless notions of composition. I learned the power of sensibility. I learned what it means to have a «great eye» and the importance of paying attention.

For all I've learned with you, for all the inspiration I've got from you, for all the magic moments I've had in front of your pieces of art, for more than five months now, and for all those things I can't express:

I was planning on telling you my favorites, but as I went through I got so many that I lost track of them.
