Resting together

Black , shiny colums, I see them everyday when driving home. But did not now what they were. Ok they stand on a cemetery, so something to do with remembering. Could also be a piece of art , there is art in the park between the graves.

Today decided to have a look and it is a columbarium. The difference with the other columbariums there is that this one is for families.Had a look around them and my mind was already in monochrome. The clouds were rolling in and the wind was blowing harder. And for sure 5 minutes after taking this photo I was soaked, and yes I had left my rainjacket in the car. For the edit one this one ,I went a bit dramatic. But I like the result.

Hope I did not disturb the peace of their final rest together.

I love that you went dramatic. It conveys the calm in the middle of the storm.

Very nice... if they weren’t “new” looking and so polished, they could pass as some type of monolith.

Had to look for the correct angle, else you would see a busy street or a parkinglot.wanted to create the field look. It is unsetling I find. Glad you like it
