Well today I went out, with in mind " architecture in landscape ". Lets say it turned out different, as so many times. The place was the National botanic Garden in Meise. Wanted to take pics from the castle there, and I took a few. Than my attention was drawn to this piece of art. I really got into it, it is named Charlotte. The artists name was not there because somebody took away the plate with the details. I know it was entered in a competion about art and nature.
It stands in front of the castle and being named Charlotte, I connect some dots and think she is Princess Charlotte from Belgium who lived in the castle. The King Leopold 2, her brother, bought it for her. So I think thats her.
Anyway I find it a very beautifull piece of art.
Lucky , today I had limited my camerabag to only one lens, my nifty the 35mm 1.4. For landscape my legs did a lot of work, but for the sculpture it was just the lens to have with you.
But in fact the planning was to shoot, architecture in the landscape
