Azalea & Chestnuts

It seems that this time of the year there a lot of flowershows going on.Lately I got an invitation from the national botanical garden to vist a expo from Azaleas from Ghent ( a city in Belgium ). Being a member there ,I can go in for free so of we went. The expo was situated in the castle there. Not many people, so you could walk free and you could take your time. The expo was a combination of the flowers and a bit of art. Must say there were some classic displays and some a bit more modern.

After visiting the expo we had a walk through the gardens and collected some chestnuts , they are falling from the trees now. My wife and daughter love eating them roasted. After in the gardenshop I treated myself to a botle of gin infused with local flowers and herbs.

Lying flat on the stairs to get this one

A bit of Esher

Your "aim" is excellent, judging by the results of your "shooting".....(((GRIN)))
