This piece of art is known as " Doorkijkkerkje ", what means seethrough church. It stands in the village of Borgloon in the province of Limburg. It can provide some really good pictures if you are there on the good moment. The original name is Reading between the lines and was build in 2011 by the architectduo Gijs Van Vaerenberg. The are quite protective about it and were not happy to hear that there was a copy in China and that it was used in a videoclip.
We decided to go with sunset, and the sun goes down behind the church, so that was good. Only the sky was not in our favour, a boring blue sky, no clouds what so ever. Maybe a good reason to go back.
My camerabuddy at work
Here you can see the layers of metal going all the way up in the tower.
We will go back there on a cloudy day or in winter, it is very nice in the snow.
