Still playing around with old photogear. I really have found a renewed love for it. so I decided to put together an analog set. Start of with a body, well I found this Fujica ST801 from 1973 in pretty good shape for 10 Euros. Important for me it is a Fujica ( which I love ), they are build like tanks. And the lensmount is M42 so plenty of cheap lenses around from a good quality. Got myself 2 Mamiya Sekor SX lenses, a 50mm f2.0 and a 35mm f2.8. Already had my Helios and A Coslinar 135mm f2.8. Nice thing is I have some adapters from M42 to FX mount, so I can use all these lenses on my digital Fuji.
Love to have only Fujinon ECB lenses, but they are still expensive , but very good quality. I own one Fujinon 55mm f1.8 and for sharpness it is not far of my new Fujinon lenses.
So this camerabody is going to be the home my vintage lenses. First went to try out the Mamiya Sekor SX 50mm f2.0. Loaded the camera with a cheap Agfa Vista iso 200 film. The camera works fine and the Mamiya lens is pretty sharp.
So here are some results of my first try with this camera.
Changed a few in monochrome.
