Defocus or haze?

by Berckmans Peter August. 29, 2019 489 views

After seeing the post from Lens and roll, defocus one more time, decided to look into it. This photo is not intentionel defocused, the sun was standing so low that manual focussing was very hard. On this vintage lens I do not have a sunhood, so the light created a haze. Seeing the result, I like the overall feel of the photo. It gives an artistic touch to it.

Lens used was the fujinon 55mm f2.2, aperture used 2.2

Everything works here. The lit spider's web, the soft circular bokeh, the composition, and the haze. Five stars

It is very artistic and the monochrome adds to the art.

I very much like it! Maybe it is not precisely defocused, but image is very soft and it works really, really well.

PS. Thanks for mention! smile

I like it, in general I often like defocused photos, they leave more room for the own imagination.
