Big eyed friend

Wanted to take some macro shots, but nature had other things in mind. The weather was fine only a bit windy. Now for macrophotgraphy that is hell. I think this guy had also enough from the wind, he did not fly away for a good part of time. It is about the only decent photo I could take that day.

The lens is my Samyang 100mm f2.8 macro;

I love the detail that you picked up in its eye.  It is a great shot

It was or is one that made it worth the day in my opinion.

It is about the closest I can get. But this is a true macro lens.

As someone just starting out with macro photography I can really appreciate this photo because my first time out the other day I saw first hand for myself how much the wind is a factor.  My hat is off to you because you got a really good capture in a difficult situation.

Thanks,with macro ,in nature not staged, your number of good pictures drops a lot. Glad you like it.
