For Chinon cameras I have a bit of a weak spot. It is a bit of a forgotten name in the cameraworld. They are build very good ( the older ones ) and that you can feel when you hold it, it is heavy. Also Chinon made some very good lenses, just the 55mm f1.7 is a super performer. The CE3 Memotron is semi automatic he selects the speed for you depending on the chosen aperture, aperture priority. There were 3 memotrons, the CE, CE2 and CE 3. If you would like to read more about here is a nice link.
When it came to me , I had to change the lightseals and the mirrordamper. The lens was proffesional cleaned by my repairguy. The film used to test it was a Fomapan 400, what really made some good results.
