Keeping your distance

We are almost in a second lockdown. The second wave is worse than the first and winter is knocking at the door.

Great shots and well captured the mood of this time.
If everyone keeps sensible and hangs on in there with so many good people working so hard for effective treatments and vaccines we will overcome this.
Can't wait until we can look back on these times from the brighter times ahead.

That time will come, but at what cost . The main problem here are the young people and some ethnic groups that just not care. Rules are not for them

No different here angry¬†Went to Chicago a couple of days ago and all restaurants and bars were shutting down for a couple of weeks since these locations are presumed to be the places most transmitting the virus or as Gethin calls it the "lurky". This morning paper threatens that Springfield will be next on the list to be shut down.ūüėí

I am already a victim of this damn virus. I had a heart condition (treatable as it seems) and I had to go to the hospital. In one of the nights I was there, a team of nurses dressed as aliens entered into the room and told my partner in the room he had covid. So, at 1h AM I was carried away to a buffer zone and had to make tests and live inside a room isolated for more 4 days. Fortunately the test was negative, but even so they didn't let me go out. After some argument exchanges the doctor understood my position and now I'm living in quarantine inside my own house. It was a horrible experience. It's like being a prisoner. No visits, no contact, just plain isolation. Love your pictures Peter

Lucky the result is negative. Personally I or my family are not hit yet. I believe it is a matter of time.  Where I work are ervery week more and more infections. But as long as you come work its is good. Hang in there my friend, we will overcome it. But at what cost.

So sorry to read this Antonio. I thought maybe you had gone on a short holiday or something since you were not around. Glad you are home but I can totally see the frustration of being stuck at home with no visitors or contacts. Sooner or later we are all going to be succumbed to this virus, it is just a matter of time. My only hope is that it does not linger on. One of my husband's employees got it, and it took him 3 weeks to fully recover. Glad you are doing well grinning
