Old vinegar.2

This is a further study from the same subject. Tried out some other lighting to get some shadows and getting in closer.

For the moment I am going through some 35mm film, so we have to wait for some new work. Just loving to work with film more and more. Time is also limited there my father is in hospital. lucky not with covid, but they moved him to the most difficult to reach hospital in Antwerp.

All by all I keep taking photos and enjoying all your entries.

Just catching up now, sorry to hear about your father. I hope he can recover.
It is so difficult to be so far away when they need you most.

These are all very interesting. Thank you for sharing them. I really like the shadows cast by the bottle and prefer the B&W version.

It was a bit of a study, learned on the way

Sorry to hear about your father, hopefully not too serious and that recovery comes swiftly.
I like the colored one on top....monochrome is too grey for me, so it looks a little flat. On the bottom section, while I like the blue shadow of the bottle the white lines(shadows) of the liquid are distracting to my eyes whereas in the monochrome version they are blended in well. All in what I like is the fact that it is a simple set up and yet quite attractive.

Thanks for your insight. I find them all a bit flat. My fault, not enough distance with the background and the angle was a bit of. Did try the edit in monchrome to get a bit of an older feel, did not quite work . But learned a few things on the way

Interesting variations! I like the last one the best (bottom right).
Very cool shadow on the wall, of the bottle & the subtle colors...+1
