Here we go again

Well next saturday we go in lock down again. Not need to say that most people have had it with the situation. The fact that the goverment seems not to be able to get the vaccination on the way. It is going very slow. Personal for me it means working a lot of overtime. Some co workers are infected and even some are in coma. So for the moment taking photos is on the backseat.

It seems that the society of mankind in cemmented in a block of stone. More and more I hear around me, is this a natural selection, is mankind on the way out. Some other ones believe firmly that this is not natural anymore.

I know one thing, this is gonna be the third lockdown and many shops, bars and restaurants will not open again after this one. Their reserves are empty. While our politicians sit in Brussells with very big wages, feeling not the impact from their rules that they force upon the people.

Keeping on the positive side, we will overcome this litle beasty.

I love #1. From reading your thoughts I am reminded that honestly things are very similar across the globe. I do not know if it has always been this way and we did not realize it due to lack of instant news/media or if it is a new development.  Anywho before I get on a soap box I do hope yall stay safe .

There is an appointment in place for July but a lot can happen between now and then.  Our numbers are climbing again, apparently we have started our third wave.  Ugh.

The politicians at the top of the EU really should pay the price with their jobs but will the people use their vote while they can. I fear the EU is moving further away from democratic accountability. The most recent behaviour is quite incredible to me. They are running around like headless chickens.

In any case Peter, do what is right for you and cope in your own way and try to be positive. This set of photos is beautiful. I found that taking photos gave me a lot of distraction during our long lockdown.

Seeing beauty through the pain - thanks, Peter. We will beat it, in spite of the best efforts of bureaucrats to make life miserable. Stay strong and do what you have to do to take care of you and yours.

Love #1....the texture and composition....really nice.

Here we are moving forward. By April 12 the governor will open up the vaccine to all Illinois residents, which helps. The claim is that if one is fully vaccinated ( 2 weeks after second vaccine) that life will be back to normal (with mask). Although, some States seem to have been hit with a third influx of infected people. Keep safe Peter smile

Top picture is perfect and beautifully composed and exposed.

We're slightly going the other way but it is very painful progress. Politicians not exactly covering themselves in glory across the board. They are, however, engaged in a big debate about how many national flags we should have in particular locations and situations anguished

Sad but true, time the stepped out of their ivory tower and get a taste of real life.
Glad you liked them, hope to go out in the weekend

Here everything is getting better (we are always going against the current)  but our politicians are keeping the lockdown in place. My parents were already vaccinated which is a good news. Love the pictures Peter
