Texture trees

Some trees are just weird. This type of tree, I believe it is the pollard willow , once very common here, standing around every field, is on its way out. I love it for its shape and when they get old have some great texture.

On their way out ? Not everywhere apparently. I see plenty of them on every walk I make in East-Flanders smile But on the contrary to what used to be the fact now it takes preservationists to cut their branches while it just used to be a source for people wanting to burn those branches.

#1 This one is my favorite. I love the row of willows too. The B&W is wonderful in this landscape.
