garden gnomes

We, along with a few other people, are planting a garden up at my Dad's house. Tonight, my sis and 3 friends all went up to start our planting. Only it was FREEZING. (Spring in Ohio). And there was a threat of frost tonight, but we really had to get it started because of schedules/plants we have had that were in need of going into the ground. Well, we ended up only planting our seeds due to the impending frost. But a few nights later the plants were planted. It's our first year doing this, so we will learn what and what not to do for next year. All our areas had to be equally marked off, and we planted a bunch of different things: onions, eggplant, spinach, lettuce, beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, and watermelon to name just a few. Can't wait to see what happens!

Measuring, measuring and more measuring. Thankful for my Dad tilling it beforehand for us!
