San Francisco Pt 3

We are now back in warm and sunny NZ, but I’m playing catchup on these blog posts now lol. Managed to find another slightly different angle of the Golden Gate Bridge, to all those standard but iconic perspectives everyone shoots. Again, managed to get this in the late afternoon sun from a moving bus top...

It turned into a beautiful evening and the WW2 ship, the Jeremiah O’Brien, docked at the maritime museum near Fishermans Wharf ended up looking like something from a period movie. The Fujinon XC 50-230mm is a great lightweight lens that’s ideal for sucking in the far away landscapes. You can even see Sausalito in the backdrop.

The final photo below was Alcatraz nicely sidelit by the evening sun. It looks so small from most angles around, but when zoomed in reveals the size is a bigger than you would imagine.
