Lovely concert by the Liverpool Renaissance singers, conductor Deborah Catterall this evening in St Mary's Mold. The newly restored organ sounded excellent played by John Barton. The church is another of the many wonderful churches in North Wales. It was built in 1485 at the instigation of Mary Beaufort mother of Henry Tudor to celebrate his victory at the battle of Bosworth Field. It had a major restoration by Gilbert Scott. This photo is of the chancel window.
