It is a year since Jo Cox was murdered by a right wing extremist. To remember a national event was held with towns across the country holding a coffee and cake morning. In Mold this was held in the Daniel Owen centre. The library staff had prepared cakes and they together with Town Hall staff were serving anybody who was wanting to take part. It was a lovely gentle friendly way to remember a remarkable woman.
For friends around the world Jo was a young member of parliament married with two young children. She was loved and admired in her community for her comittment to the people of her constituency.
