Recce afternoon

Today is the day I would normally go to add to the sequence of pictures about the River Dee and it's bridges. By the afternoon flat grey clouds had covered the sky and the light was so unintersting that there was very little modelling even to photograph details of the buildings in Ruthin.

I had mentioned in the post about the Horseshoe falls how the Llangollen canal crosses the Dee on an engineering wonder. I have tried to photograph Pontcysyllte in the past and not been happy so this afternoon I went on a reconnaisance mission and used my mobile as a visual notebook. I plan to go back when the light is good with a camera and try to make some better images. So here are the notes!

Great pictures from your Motorola G!
And its still standing after 200 years? No wonder it costs a fortune.
Thanks for sharing some history with us! 😃

The old phone has its uses! I have the Lightroom app on it so I can sync it to my laptop and edit there in the full version of Lightroom.

I wonder how much that would be today. Certainly greater than £4.7 million. This was made as part of the application for it to become a World Heritage Sight.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqeCu6jd9W0
