You will have noticed that my intention to make pictures every day has slipped a lot over the last 3 months. So I am trying get back some discipline and take something every day. By 4.30 this afternoon the light had gone outside and the day had been grey. So with the camera freshly charged I did what I often do and pointed it at objects near my desk. Nothing brilliant but at least I have tried to disrupt the inertia I have experienced in my photography.
At my feet in hardly any light was my camera bag.
Behind me the overcrowded book shelves.
On the window ledge the dried flower head of a hydrangea.
