My best friend brought a rooster from ranch and I made traditional Nepalese style curry this morning. All the ingredients that included here come from scratch (meaning I myself roasted and grounded all the spices)! Green garlic and cilantro is from our garden my friends. Note: Rooster shown in picture no. 1 is not the one that is cooked here! Here is everything that went into the Chicken curry excpet salt, cumin seed, turmeric powder and Nepalese style Tej Paat (similar to bay leaf). Fried Chicken! Since rooster was close to 1 year old; only frying would not work (it’s still very hard) so… you need to add some water and simmer for another hour so that all the species will go into meat and you will have thick gravy (and meat is little softer too). Ready to serve!
