I was riding through the neighborhood, and I vaguely heard a broadcast come over the radio concerning a “guilty” verdict. When I turned up the radio, I heard they convicted the “doctor” Kermit Gosnell performing late term abortions.
I guess by now some of you may have heard the story, it made national news. This “house of horrors” abortion clinic had everything from teenage assistants to filthy outdated equipment. But yet many low income patients kept him afloat - up until a 41 year old immigrant from Bhutan came there in search of a “ cheaper way” died during a procedure.
Gosnell , 74 years old, was found guilty on at least 40 various counts, and his sentencing phase will come shortly. Chances are, if they don't give him the death penalty - he'll probably die in prison.
