games people play - part five

(You can find the rest of this series posted on Feb. 7, 8, 9, 10, 2014. )

Downtown scattered on the grounds of Philadelphia's Municipal Services Building you can find an art installation called “Your Move”. It was created by artist and architects Daniel Martinez, Renee Petropoulis and Roger White in 1996.

The various game pieces are made of metal, cement and fiberglass, and are permanently installed. While vibrant when first put up, the weather, sticker art and graffiti artists alike have made their mark adding to the “character” of the pieces which depict familiar games like BINGO, Dominoes, chess, SORRY!, even Monopoly.

Land on your opponents playing piece - send them back to go…
Its called “SORRY!”

Cool! One of the few board games I kind of liked when my kids were little.
