then and now

Unfortunately I took the present shots from a moving car, so they're not the best.
I have some really good ones coming up though. I hope these will tide you over until then.
I love this stuff :)

One of the greatest and oldest concert auditoriums in the city, Philadelphia Academy of Music 1905
Broad and Locust Streets.

Same auditorium, November 1924

Built in 1855, still going strong in 2014.

Girard Trust Building, 1910
Designed and built by Frank Furness for Stephen Girard in 1908
Broad and Chestnut Streets.
The building to the right was actually an addition to the bank.

Today, 2014
Both buildings are now home to the Ritz - Carlton Hotel.
