I remember exactly where I was, and what I was doing at the time.
I was in one of those warehouse style big box stores (Costco), and all of the flat screen TVs were on the same station. And the PA system came on alerting everyone. Most of us went straight to the TV department. Hearing it was one thing- seeing the second tower fall was another.
After a long pause in the report, I remember all the shoppers just leaving their carts full of merchandize in the aisles of wherever they were standing, and just leave the store…

Was a few minutes late to work after a men's prayer session on that Tuesday morning. The first plane had already - I'll never forget seeing the second one impact the other building.

Waking to my clock radio that morning, I was numb to hear the unbelievable shocking news. And we had just visited the WTC not too long before that.

I was at work in a hospital and I remember seeing those pictures on one of the patients televisions.

I also remember very well all those agonizing moments. I dined in the restaurant on top of one of the towers (do not remember which one) when I visited New York many years ago, so, the shock for me was even greater.

I had just woken up on the West Coast. I had moved out to California several years prior - leaving my job in the World Trade Center, Tower 1.

Yes, what an unbelievable and sad time. Everyone only thought of family, loved ones and we were united. Terrible how it takes a tragedy to bring people together. Nice memory shot.

I remember having to hold my phone to the T.V. for my daughter who worked for I.A.T.A. at the time - they didn't have a T.V. in the office - she worked with little sleep for 72 hrs. ( crisis communications). WE need to always remember.
