At first glance, you'd think Rosa's Fresh Pizza is just like every other Philadelphia pizza parlor with random autographed photos of celebs that stopped in for a slice, adorning their walls....
But the minute you step inside, the multicolored paper mosaic tells a different story. For 1.00, you get a pretty good slice, any topping you want.
But for 2.00 - (as some of you may have see on "Ellen") you get a slice, a post-it note to write a well wish on, and they donate the second slice to someone less fortunate on designated days of the week.
Owner Mason Wartman started the pizza program about 2 years ago, when a paying customer asked if he could buy a slice for a homeless person. The rest is history.
