The Broad Street Run once again, took over the Philadelphia's main street. Under threatening skies, at 8am sharp, runners from all over the world, raced towards Philadelphia's Navy Yard facility, 10 miles away
7:55am, Wheelchairs take to the street...
Every year in front of the world famous, now defunct (but being renovated) Uptown Theater, my cousin, Terry Biggs and his drum circle cheer on the runners from start to finish.
This courageous gent (below) wearing part of his service uniform, was living the dream - escorted by teamates.
Spoiler alert: Third guy from the right of the pack, wins.
