Typo [goo.gl] is an exhaustive, and incredibly beautiful history of typographic design presented in three languages.

I picked this up many, many years ago at Brighton's Borders for roughly £10. I actually thought it was mis-priced, and looking at it's price now, still think I'm right.

Yesterday I was using it to raise my laptop. This is absolutely sacrilegious behaviour for an librarian, but it just reminded me I owned it, and I sat and skimmed random pages over a cup of tea. I usually pick it up when I'm in need of design inspiration but that results in a down-turn in productivity…

It's funny how you get to rediscover things in your life in the most random ways. I love the shots. Think, you could also use it as a weapon if needed (given the 8lbs)
