Don't go into the cellar

The extremes of houses are interesting. Either they're converted, polished and an asset to the property in monetary terms, or left “as is”, and used for storage, a place to hide or a place to keep your army of slave graphic design monkeys.*

I wandered in the cellar with the camera phone. They results are singularly unspectacular, but did make me realise the amount of “stuff” I have.

*The monkeys have Tuesdays off. They're at the pub.

Gardening stuff. This part is the coal storage area. To the front and in the ceiling is a hole that goes directly to a cover in front of the main door to the house. This would've been where coal was dumped. Damn thoughtful these Victorian house-builders.

Probably all empty or solidified. File under, “might be useful one day”.

The way out. I have no recollection of why I painted just one step…
