March Blizzard

We are in the grips of another March blizzard. Winter has been relentless and the howling outside my window makes it even more sinister. I believe we could see another 12 inches of snow.

I sat in my favorite chair and looked out the window into the neighborhood and decided I would brave the weather to play with shutter speeds. I stepped out the back door and there was nowhere to go with all of the snow.

I grabbed some ribbons and tied them outside our front door and started clicking away with various shutter speeds. Luckily, the deep freeze temperatures are not part of this blizzard so I actually able to stand outside.

Today the choice was made to step out of the darkness of yet another storm and see the color and beauty, even if I had to create it.

Very creative Jennifer, but what I really love is the view from the window smile

Thank you, Antonio, it doesn't look so bad in black & white.  The house across the street is kind of ugly.

Yes, I know just what you mean!
It's melting and raining and ugly here!
Snow should be near gone this week, even though we have MOUNDS of it!
We had a crazy winter with sub zero weather too, but it was enjoyable anyway. (at least we had snow)smile
Keep on braving the elements in the name of creativity...makes the dull season go by faster!

LOL-
It's cold and windy and frozen again! GLARE ICE everywhere.
It's supposed to warm up again, and if the forecast is right, this snow should be HISTORY!
How did you fare your storm?
