Rhodes on Pawtuxet -64

Once upon a time, Native Americans held the land of Cranston, RI until Roger Williams came along and bought it from them for a bunch of Wampam. Cranston was once called Pawtuxet meaning “Little Falls.”
I like to think that this was once a train station waiting platform…though I know it isn't true. I honestly don't know what it's purpose is other than to promote where it is located and to shelter passerbys in the event of a rain storm.
