At the Ocean

It is not near warm enough to enough a drip in the Ocean, but real water people know how relaxing just being near it can be. The sounds, the smell, the air are energy enhancers. But very soon I will come back for some photos of frolicking.

There is art work on many of the streets leading to the boardwalk.

The boardwalk used to be made of wood, hence the name. But concrete replaced the original years ago.

In addition to the ‘boardwalk’, there is an asphault paved path for bikes and skateboards.

This is a fountain at one of the many hotels along the beach.

This is a portion of the boardwalk. And over the left end of the railing you can see the fishing pier down the beach.

This is a view from the most southern point of the resort area looking north.

Dog on leashes are allow on this resort section on beach during off season. The sections of beach where residentail homes are built have different rules. Well mannered dogs can run loose under owners watchful eye.

This is a view looking south.

Looking north.

Just a portion of the boardwalk.

The fishing pier at 17th Street.

And back to where we started!
