Neptune Saves the Day

A few screw ups on my part with this edit. My intent was to show a couple shots as originals and then with edited backgrounds. But, numbskull here failed to save the original files!! And in image # 4 I took a chuck out of Neptune's left humerus and had to fill it in. Again, no original file!

This sand scupture received the People's Choice Award at the Neptune Festival. It depicts the recent BP oil spill.

The mighty Neptune!

Sometimes the press is actually a good thing.

This is the image I wounded and tried to repair Neptune's left humerus. I wish I had more time, steadier hands and better eye sight!!

A more clear image of Uldis!

Head of Neptune is actually a masterpiece!
I am missing the likeness of Anderson Cooper though from in front of the CNN camera...

This is wonderful, Ray - the fish against the coral look real! Who knew that sand castles could be so "politically correct"? Love the BP sign and the CNN camera man.

Excellent shots! Wonderful sand sculptures! King Neptune must be weeping with all the destruction of marine life from oil disasters!

Amazing sand sculptures and if you hadn't told us, I would never had known you did anything to the arm. Very nice background editing!
