Disrupted

I chased this heron across the lake 3 times and could not for the life of me sneak up on him. Actually he went across and I went around. I gave up the last time and just took photos as he fly away.

Just after take off, the legs hang a bit low.

But, once they get their groove on, the toes are pointed tighter than a gymnist!!

      Great catch! love 2. Yes, I can picture you running back and forth trying to get close to this guy... and he's getting a kick out of making you run around....

      Well, Ray...you and I had the same subjects to post today! My "flight" shot was about 300 yards away and not nearly as good as yours in #2-4. Nice shots - nice post!

      They seem to know when you are around even when you are very quiet......You did get some great shots though! Very nicely done!
