The first photo demonstrates the freedom we are photographic artist have to present an image in any manner we choose. This is the Artsy.
The 2nd shows the background mottle before I made adjustments in Photoshop Elements to brighten and lessen the effect.
And the third shows the flower in it's natural surroundings. Not a very pretty sight. But the lesson here is that we often have control of less than opportunistic situations. To hide the ugly in this photo I grab an old grey board from the garage and propped it behind the flower. Instant 100% improvement. From trash to treasure, so to speak.
