14- Algonquin - the Dark side

I was repulsed at first by the thought of taking pictures of this as a continuation of my trip but then I thought that nature as life itself is not only flowers, sunshine and rainbows…
I found these images beautiful though, in all the cruelty of “reality”.
Don't misunderstand me please, I'm referring only to composition, colours, light…

I dont see anything dark on these pictures. all of us, human do the same every morning, noon and evening, even though, in a more “civilized” environment, at a table or in a fancy restaurant, where the “dirty part of the job” was already done for us by the slaughter-house. these look almost real, the background landscape makes the illusion perfect. where have you taken these?

Nice change of angles and crops.

I agree with you fully. ' Man is the only animal who takes pleasure in killing fellow animals'...That's nature for you.

For people curious to understand my point: I will include an explanatory note after three more posts related to this one. You might get the point before that anyway, just by looking carefully at the following posts.

Just for now I'll say that it breaks my heart when these scenes happen in reality, but we shouldn't forget that birds need to live too and they also have babies to feed.
They are doing only what nature intended them to do.
They don't do it with malice, they simply are hunters.

We people, are doing the same - killing and eating animals, including deers - but even worse, we are the only animals who sometimes kill for pleasure: and that doesn't make us hunters, but murderers.

Ugh!!!! Can an eagle actually kill a deer that size or would that be the results of human hunters ?!!!
