Jungfraujoch via Grindelwald, May 16 2015

One of the main summits of Bernese Alps, the Jungfraujoch or the Jungfrau region is by-far one of the most breath-taking sights of my life. An engineering marvel that preserves nature's treasures in the most appropriate manner. Worth every Euro spent and the time taken to get there!

One more from the “Top of Europe”

The train journey from Grindelwald to Jungfrau.

At Kleine Scheidegg, a railway station located 2,061 metres above sea level on the way to Jungfrau. It is known to be a starting point for hikes and a trip to the Jungfraujoch or the Top of Europe. At this intermediate stop, you change over to another train that takes you steeply through tunnels inside the Eiger and Mönch mountains all the way up to the Jungfraujoch.

The “Equipped for Excitement” Jeep Renegade we rented for our drive to Switzerland.
