Tuesday Inspiration - and the theme is obvious

by Stefan Fletcher March. 23, 2010 2990 views

My thanks to Lynda for coming up with this theme and, as usual - but none the less sincere for that - to Helen for assuming the burden of Tuesday Inspiration logistics.

It's a curious theme. I realised that very few of my images do not feature the theme. I'm sure there will be some very interesting posts from other participants, a partial list of whom is available below, with the usual proviso that you should look for their entries dated - this time - 23 March.

Other possible Tuesday Inspiration participants are:

CathyB [photoblog.com]
Djnana [photoblog.com]
Girafferacing [photoblog.com]
Jarvo [photoblog.com]
KellyBee322 [photoblog.com]
Lynda [photoblog.com] - who should be defenestrated for coming up with it
Matteahmb [photoblog.com]
MoMac [photoblog.com]
Nellinka [photoblog.com]
Ryana [photoblog.com]
TheBronzeBow [photoblog.com]
Wasichseh [photoblog.com]
Yellodog [photoblog.com]

There may be others.

Here's the theme, exactly as stated. Not too keen on the first, or the second for that matter. Don't get it? Well below are some more…

There are both here

Part of some of the theme

Most of another part of the theme

Not actually visible, but clearly discernable

Bit of an obvious theme, but none the worse for that. Made me look back through mine and realised how often I use a frame within the frame, I think we all have stylistic tics, of which, mostly, we're unaware. Particularly like 3 & 6.

Neat set. Great angle on number 4. As for the crack in no.3 I'm surprised it stays in one piece. Oh, show me the way to the next whisky bar....

I've seen all tuesday inspirations arround, and I came to the conclusion that I'm inspired to confusion. I mean, the views for the theme makes me confused to what is the theme! but I like because it makes it diffrent and interesting :)))

Haha! Is the 1st pic is a red herring, as although it seems pretty close it is different from the others!
Although great, love the 3rd one!

Ah, your usually salty self... :) You've done a great job at capturing the theme as usual. A few pics I recognize and like as well the second time around. I'm also digging the edit of 5 which I think you may have posted in a different version.

I don't fancy being defenestrated but your takes on the theme are really good.

I'll concentrate on the photos since I've never been good at games... great light in 6 and that bare lightbulb is a perfect detail.

WOW, fantastic! I like the first for the association, the 2nd reminds me on hollidays, and the 6th for the composition. Is it a memorial place?
