Computers don't have artificial intelligence; they have genuine stupidity

I think this quote is from Steve Wozniak, one of the founders of Apple, but I may be wrong.

I thought about this because Adobe has just added an app for iPhones and iPads. I messed with an MMS image I sent to a friend today from where I had lunch.

What bothers me is that it would have taken me a long time to achieve this in the real 64-bit Photoshop CS5 on a capture from my Canon 5DII. As it happens, I was fiddling with the phone in a café waiting for another friend to turn up and this is the result.

Make my day: enlarge me.

I am beginning to really like the iPhone camera, it's limitations are interesting. There is also a nagging thought, with the many post-processing options, do any of us need to buy expensive cameras? Not that I have. Good luck with the drinking, it's what I did last week-hic!

I've certainly heard of them being called swift-idiots before. Love the colours in this shot.

It's a rather nice shot wherever it came from. Isn't your quote from a Clint Eastwood movie?
